Characteristics from Design B, Type B
  • Identification Code: mv20bs-bb
  • General: Circular shape with plain edge.
  • Obverse: Heptagonal rim with no beading. In the center, over the field, bust of Simon Bolivar facing left (from the viewer's perspective), with "BARRE" below (from the original engraver), surrounded by the legends "Bolívar" at left and "LIBERTADOR" at right.
  • Reverse: Circular rim with dentacles beading. In the center, over the field body of the Coat of Arms with a horse stand up toward the right looking at left (from the viewer's perspective) with the year splitted in two parts at each side. Surrounding the field, the country name "REPUBLICA DE VENEZUELA" «Republic of Venezuela» and the face value "20 BOLIVARES".
  • Design variations: The design in the obverse is slightly similar to Design B, Type A with a reduced size of the bustof Bolívar. In the reverse, the letter style and wideness of "20" is changed.
